Operating Rules for event participants.


You are responsible for reading this!
Vendor Setup from 7:30am to 10am  The earlier the better
Performers can arrive with appropriate time to set up relative to your performance.
Event Hours from 10am to 4pm
Breakdown
clean up 4pm to 6pm

If you have not gotten a space/set-up assignment, DO NOT worry, it will be assigned when you arrive.

In the event of weather severe enough that the market will not happen all will move forward to the next market.

Weights for your canopy are REQUIREDALWAYS. Recommended 30 pounds per leg. Small round plastic weights, bricks etc…. are not enough to keep you from losing your canopy and products to a gust of wind, and possibly damaging others property as well.

Pull your vehicle in from E Broad St ( See the yellow on the map ) and unload to your space. 

Unload your car, immediately go park your car Then return and begin setting up your space.

There is street parking around the Innovation Square area and it is free on weekends and legal holidays, along
Broad Street and Chestnut Street and around Washington Square Park just one block away.

Do not leave your vehicle in the yellow zone while setting up ( this prevents others from unloading and holds up everything)

All event participants are expected to represent themselves to a standard of decency while participating in Roc Artist Open Market
on the grounds of Innovation Square. As a participant, you represent the event our event sponsors and the experience to the patrons of the event. Any behavior not fitting can lead to their dismissal from the event and as a future participant. 

All participants, as well as attendees, are expected to adhere to and promote an all-inclusive community for all to come together in this festive celebration of the arts where hate is never tolerated. In the case that an issue arises, you are to contact the event manager on site.

As always be prepared for anything, sun, rain, and wind can always be a factor outdoors.
Make your list and check your supplies ahead of time knowing that you have the things you need to be comfortable, set up your display, and do well.

Tap, scissors, tools you may need, markers, pens, pencils, paper, straps, string, ( WEIGHTS) chairs, tables, charger source for phone, makes signs, price tags/stickers, water, advil, band aids, table covers, clamps, money/small bills for change, etc……….

Have your ways to accept payment ready, scan/QR codes for PayPal, Stripe etc….

If you are not using a canopy, make sure you have planned out how to set up your display not to be blown away if wind happens, and to be sheltered from the sun or rain if they are a factor.

When a vendor is not prepared it impacts other vendors who take time to assist, which leaves that vendor less time tending to their booth, set up ,supplies, and their customers.

Bring the things you need, tape, rope, string, wire, pens, makers, scissors, phone charger supply, clamps, weights, weights, weights, sun glasses, water, tools…….
